We should depend solely in our Lord Jesus Christ for the strength we badly need to overcome all temptations, bear all sufferings, and perform our duties in serving Him. Our mortal body may be weak, but our spirit keeps on getting stronger every day in doing the tasks that the Lord gives us. In the face of adversities, challenges in our ministry, even in poverty, humiliation, and even in persecution, we can bear them all through Christ who gives us the power to overcome. We not only overcome but are happy to suffer in the name of the Gospel and for the glory of God. We know that He will give us power. He promised us that. He said He will be with us through thick and thin. We can count on Him when we need Him most. His everlasting love will see us through. So do not be disheartened or dismayed. Cheer up and rise up. God is your strength.
