“Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men.” Psalms 140:1
Abba, one God and Father, who is above all, we know that the enmity between the old serpent and the woman from the beginning of time exists until today. His seed and the woman’s seed will always be enemies and will continue its clash until the appointed time. The truth and the good news about this battle is your declaration of the victory on the side of the woman and her seed which is us, your chosen people and your beloved church. We cleave upon your divine election and we put our trust and confidence in your power and faithful promises. Our fight is your fight. You are on our side; you told us not to fear. Even the wrath of enemies would burst like hot rocks from a volcano, it cannot surprise you for you know all his crafty works. They cannot prevail in any way against you. Though we are their target and they keep on trying to harm us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, you promised to deliver us from their vicious attacks. We pray, Father, strengthen our hearts against all persecutions, mockery and from any despise. Let the light triumph against the darkness. Let our holiness be our perfect weapon against any wickedness. Let our hope, faith and love be our strong standpoint founded in you oh God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
