Let Us Pray No. 7

  • January 7, 2017

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24

Abba, Father, I come to you in prayer and worship. I seek your face and lift my voice along with all the saints to thank you for another day that you are giving us. You are our loving father who really cares for your children. We ask for your salvation which you freely give to those who call on your name. We ask for your provision in all that we need in this life, with a promise that we shall seek first what is best for your Kingdom and live uprightly in your sight. We understand that we should ask things not for our own satisfaction but for the benefit of others around us. We are confident that, today, you will do your purpose in us, to sanctify us, to make us into your image. Bless us the with your spirit that we may live more godly, more joyful, peaceful, more loving, more forgiving, more faithful , kind and good. Lord, we believe that today and until the day of your coming you will do good works in us for we truly love you and abide by your statutes. I believe that in my heart, for you are faithful to your elect, that you will give what is best for us, your beloved children that we may shine as bright as the morning star for people to see that we are your children, heirs of your abundant blessings here on earth and in heaven, today and forever. Amen.
