Abba, heavenly Father. You are our Lord God who fills us with hope and strength. Your ways are untraceable and the richness of your loving-kindness is unfathomable. Although the world we live in is hard and complex, you as our Father and our all-powerful God provides us with encouragement and perseverance to face it with optimism. Others are frightened of what the future may hold on them because their hopes are based on what they see which are not true. In our case, we have the assurance and hope of the things unseen which are genuine and lasting. We may have tears and sorrows now while we journey in this world, we fully believe that you will fill our lips with laughter and gladness tomorrow in the world to come where you will grant us the heavenly glory you promised us. Praises be to you, our God and Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
