Let Us Pray No. 57

  • February 26, 2017

“You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve Him, and to Him you shall hold fast, and take oaths in His name.”  Deuteronomy 10:20

Abba, our God Most High, we adore you in your majesty. We praise you and thank you for your manifold grace and goodness. The heavens, the earth and everything they contain belong to you, , oh, Lord our God, but we are the ones you have chosen to be your portion and very own treasure. We delight in contemplation of you. Asking ourselves what return can we render to your greatness then we find nothing, oh, Lord. What we only know is to do everything for you in awe and in true reverence, cheerfully and with freewill. You are our happiness and joy. Your words and our obedience from them keep us to live beside you. For you preserve and protect your faithful and loyal servants. Let us walk today in the ways you appointed us as a mark of our love and affection to you. From the beginning of this day until its end and throughout our entire life may you find our true reverence in you in our thoughts, in our hearts, in our lips and in our deeds. Bless the Lord our God forever! Amen.
