Abba, Holy Father. Your love, compassion and goodness are the choicest blessings we receive from you. Your words and counsels are like the heralds that announce bright hope every new day. We exalt and magnify your great name day and night. Serving you in our entire life and even for all eternity may seem short for us to praise and worship you in your greatness and holiness.
You spoke and everything came into existence. All of creation obeys your commands. Who am I to not follow you? Lord, speak to me now and I will follow. I will listen for your soft voice in my heart and I will absolutely and readily obey. I do not intend to listen from the dictate of my own heart. It’s you and all of your commands are perfect. They are steps in the ladder of holiness to the gateway of heaven and of true life. It is a wonderful destination we look forward to reach. Direct me not to walk to the left or to the right but to the straight path of your will. This I pray to you today oh Father. Bless us. Amen.
