“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
Abba, everlasting Father. It is the end of the first month. We started strong in spirit and deeds striving to reach the goal we set for the year. You have given us the wisdom that what you have begun in us, which is the sanctification of our souls, you intend to finish it until the day when you come back to set up your Millennial Kingdom. During the past days, we tried our best to carefully follow your instructions. We tried to walk in the light of your Words. We wanted to please you and glorify you with our faithfulness. However, when we put into action your saving work in our lives, in obeying you, we sometimes slip. We are confident that even if we fall, you will raise us up again.
Lord, we fully depend on you. In our walk for the rest of the year, we ask you to not leave us alone. Guide us and strengthen us daily for us to accomplish our tasks. Give us the wisdom and the skills that we may do them with excellence. Send us people who can help us attain our goals. All through the days, help us do our religious duties. We desire to pray for you constantly in a day and every day. We want to worship you and meditate in your great work of salvation. Let us behold you in our hearts lest we fall and be lost in the world. We believe, Abba, Father, that we shall finish the course that is set before us. We shall be perfect in holiness for your glory. This we pray in your name. Amen.
