Let Us Pray No. 251

  • September 8, 2017

And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory. Romans 9:23

Abba, graceful God, we arise from our sleep, that we may seek you, learn from you and  pursue your assigned tasks for us today. We prepare ourselves to be your willing instruments to be used for your glory. We ask you Lord, to forgive our sins, make us holy and be vessels of mercy to the praise of the glory of your grace. We are certain that we shall go through challenges of daily living in this troubled world. However, you have made it clear for us the purpose of our existence. From being sinners in the Kingdom of darkness, you brought us to your marvelous light in your Kingdom. Your words illuminated our blinded minds. You revealed yourself to us with your kindness and grace. We were able to see you in your Holiness. We now see ourselves lacking in so many ways that we fell short of your glorious standard. And now, you chose us and justified us and sanctified us to become your perfect image as when you were in the flesh. And as we now live, your Holy Spirit dwells in us to comfort, teach, guide and strengthen us to endure all challenges and be steadfast against distractions and diversions for us to change us daily from glory to glory. Lord, as we go through today, we focus our eyes on you, on the love and sacrifices you have done for our sake. Let us love you and serve you faithfully in return. We shall be happy to live as you want us to live; trusting, loving, happy, peaceful and abundant in good works. Amen.
