  • January 17, 2017

“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 4:2

Abba, Father, I come before you today with the brethren, to declare your kindness and to magnify your Holy name in our midst. You amaze us with your grace. We are grateful for the blessings of life, family and friends. Thank you for the blessings of things which are seen and unseen. Most of all thank you for the love and affection you are giving as a Father to your children. Your Agape is overflowing in our hearts and your Spirit fills our souls. How can we not bow our heads in praise? The morning is nigh and our souls seek you! We adore and worship you in spirit and in truth. With your Spirit in us, we are confident of the following: We shall be able to walk with joy, righteousness and in all goodness. We shall not be worried about anything for you are with us. You are generous oh, God. You gave yourself for our salvation and have promised us all the riches in heaven as our inheritance. If we have you, we shall not be wanting of anything. We shall not go astray for your Spirit will direct us and teach to where to go. You promised to strengthen us, only if we know that we are weak. In our weakness we are strong because you. So we shall be able to do our task. You shall comfort us when we are tired and weary. You will let us see the victory ahead that we may persevere until we are able to achieve it. We know that Satan would want to snatch the joy that we are to experience today. Thus, we shall be in full alert. We shall be watchful and we shall pray throughout the day as we do our tasks. Abba, Father, again, thank you and we praise you. Amen.
