“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Gal 5:25

Abba, our spiritual Father, we once lived after fleshly comfort and sinful pleasures. Our happiness and joy had been dependent on the fame and glory which this world can give. Even how successful we thought we are, we still find emptiness in our soul. We still long for something else we cannot fine in the what we had. We continually seek but found nothing to satisfy us completely. The day you called us was the turning point of our life. It made us realize that true happiness and joy does not depend on what we do have. The greatest joy is not what we keep and treasure but in what we give and share. This gives us great pleasure and fulfillment. The inner peace and comfort by the dwelling of your Spirit in us is something that lasts which no man can take away from us. Lord, help us examine ourselves if we do have the fruit of your Holy Spirit. May we keep the gift of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control in our hearts in the midst of any difficulties and any circumstances in life. May these be revealed in us and in our relationships with our families, friends and neighbors. May we be like new born babes who bring happiness, joy and vibrant spirit to our brothers and sisters in the Church and hope, courage and light to those who seek you and glory and praise to your name. Amen.
