Let Us Pray No. 146

  • May 26, 2017

“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.” 2 Thessalonians 1:3

Abba, our Father, Lord and God, we understood life before as complex and unfair because what we want doesn’t always happen the way we plan and expect. There were times we get caught up between difficult choices and in the end we are being compromised in situations we least expect. Lord, when you came into our lives, you opened our blinded mind. You planted seeds of faith in our hearts. You taught us how to deny ourselves and to let go of our worldly desires. You gave us courage to accept that it is your will and not ours that will bring us to prosperity. Oh, Lord, may this prayer be a blessing for those who zealously labor for edifying your Most Holy Church. Bless them more and more. Multiply them, oh Lord. May the strength of a single believer be the strength of the whole Church.  Empower us to work together in loving and serving one another until we meet the greater growth and increase of your kingdom. All of these we pray for the honor and praise of your holy name. Amen.
