Abba, my Father who is in heaven, I choose to obey you for you choose me to become your disciple and servant. I fully understand that the plight that I go across is one of your major ways for me to reach the edge of perfection of the faith you gifted us. I believe what s you have said, a disciple is not greater than his teacher, nor a servant is not greater than the master. I too shall bear my own cross as a partaker of your pain and sufferings. Father, my God, though my heart is crushed and troubled from the hardships and tribulations I am going through, I ask you to make me whole as a Christian and a follower of your footprints towards holiness and finally to glory. I am choosing to trust you than to trust myself or anyone else. Even my shadow leaves when I am in the dark hours of my life and remains only during the daytime. It is only you who remains in me especially in the darkest hour of my journey. Let your will be done and not my will. Lord, no matter what I am about to encounter today or the next day of my life I would gladly choose to cross it for I faithfully believe that it would give glory and honor to your name. Amen.
