Let Us Pray No. 112

  • April 22, 2017

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14

Abba, our Father and God, who heals all afflictions. We implore to you in regards to those who has sufferings and torments. Please bless them with your healing touch so that they might not be totally shattered. Let any doubt that weakens their inner thoughts end and begin to hope and trust in you and to your instruments you use to strengthen them and uplift them. Embrace them and comfort them especially on their sleepless nights, mend their hearts and give them a peaceful spirit through the gift of faith they had in you. Enable them to see your faithful promise to those who come to you in all humility during this form of trials. Lord, let them learn that all your thoughts you have for us all are thoughts of peace and not for evil and to give us hope in our latter end. And when they are spiritually and physically healed, Lord, may you find them like the leper whom you healed, to joyfully turn back to you, kneel down to give thanks and to glorify and praise you! Amen.
