Let Us Pray No. 97

  • April 7, 2017

“Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; preserve me from violent men.” Psalms 140:1

Abba, our Lord God, in one voice and one spirit, we as your chosen people, praise and worship you in spirt and in truth. We ask and pray, Lord, you to direct our footsteps, protect us and guide us from any dangers that may be out of our sight in our continuing journey in this life. Though we walk in the midst of troubles, may we be strengthened to persevere to the end. Stretch out your mighty hands and protect us against ungodly people that might want to harm and cause us mishaps. You told us to have no fear of those who kill the body, for you faithfully promised that even a single strand of hair will, in no way, be lost without your permission. Oh Father, you made us light of the world and salt of the earth. Let us be reminded that as Christians, we should not be influenced by the fashion of this world instead may we always remember that we should be your catalyst in transforming the world to become one kingdom under your kingship. Lord, continually help us to become perfect in holiness changing from glory to glory until we become your perfect image and thus, may change the world as well. Amen
