Abba, Father, the more I contemplate by the richness of your kindness and mercifulness, the more I understand how blessed we are from the calling you have called us. From the time I had been counted as one of your beloved child I have held then the great truth that I am now by your side. Though there are moments of my life that I don’t understand why such things should happen to me, I am reassured by the faithfulness of your promises that you will take me by the hand and make my feet stand firmly on the ground to keep me from stumbling and falling. Forgive me Father if sometimes I was almost tempted to stop and just stay where I am now but your love compels me to press on forward and take hold of the glorious prize you have for us. Abba, Father, refresh my spirit. Keep me away from any evil thoughts that could lead me to despair. Let me feel the warmth of your care under the wings of your love when I am exhausted in this tedious world. Let my hands be clean and my heart be purified while I am obeying and fulfilling my ministry. Bless me Father. Amen.
