Let Us Pray No. 86

  • March 27, 2017

“I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day.” 2 Timothy 1:3

Abba, dear Father, I am praying to you in behalf of the precious people that surround me. I consider them as your blessing for me. Help me to be also a blessing for them. You created us as your spiritual body where each one of us is individually part of it. You commend us that we should love one another just as you loved us.  Dear Lord, pour out in us your Holy Spirit that we may abound with sincere love from having mutual care and concern for each other. Agape love is the fulfillment of the Law and the Gospel. We beseech you Lord, unify our hearts and mind, enable us to obtain virtue in seeing the goodness to others and may we be kindly affectionate in showing respect for one another. And if we are trying to seek shortcomings and flaws, may we first see them in ourselves than finding them to others. As you said, “We should first take the log out on our own eye before we can take the mote in the eye of our brother.” Abba, we have the hope and faith that our Agape for each other will become flames of fire that will give warmth to every hearts in the midst of your children. Bless each of us. Amen.
