Abba, our Holy Father, each day is a new day which brings new hope and new life for us. Thank you for giving us the opportunities to enjoy your gift of life with our love ones and to be of service to you and to our fellowmen in ways you would want us to do. We know that we shall have challenges ahead each day but because we have given us your words, we are ready to face all of them. Our confidence comes from you that we shall all overcome. You commanded us not to be afraid, to be courageous and not be terrified by the things that happen around us, which directly or indirectly affects and afflicts us. Almighty Father, for as long as you are with us, we have nothing to fear. Kindly empower us by your presence that you may go with us wherever we go and whatever we do. We promise that we shall follow you and obey you with gladness. Lord, we pray for those of us who are in pain daily, to please comfort them, heal their spirits as well as their physical bodies. Please ease their pains and sufferings. Most specially, give them an immovable hope that each day they may praise and thank you along with all of your saints. This we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
