And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. (Romans 6:13)
Abba, our Father, You are righteous. We humbly seek Your throne. We pray for the forgiveness of everything we committed that are against Your will. Although we understand You called us to become holy, most of the time, we still stumble and fall. Truly, we cannot count how many times we succumbed to temptations. We pray for forgiveness, our Father. It was never our intention to let You down because of our sins. You know our hearts desire to attain Your holiness. That is why, along with asking for forgiveness, we pray for Your compassion and new chances to completely correct our mistakes, make up for our shortcomings, and enhance the good deeds we have already done. May our holiness please You. May we offer You ourselves as a sweet-smelling aroma in Your throne. May we be an instrument to preach the gospel of salvation through living in righteousness. These we pray to glorify Christ Jesus, our only God and Savior. Amen.
