Let Us Pray No. 245

  • September 2, 2017

Teach me what I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will do no more’? Job 34:32

Abba, Father, you are the Holy God. You are slow to anger, abundant in mercy and truth. None of us can hide our sins from you. Even those we did in secret and in the dark, you can still see them clearly as in broad daylight. You even know the core of our hearts, the doubts, fears, motives and feelings. Despite all these, you did not keep records of our transgressions and sins; instead, you erased them and threw them all behind you. Because you are holy, you transformed us from being sinners into your holy servants. You taught your words for us to know and believe in you and to hope in your promise. We are so honored to serve you all the days of lives. We delight in obeying your words even in the midst of trials and tribulations that we face for the sake of your glory. Lord, thank you so much for giving us this great opportunity to serve you, you being the only Holy One, the Creator of all things, the Most Holy God. The only way we can repay you is to faithfully follow your instructions, live by your words and worship until we breathe our last. God, let me learn from you today. Let me hear your words that I may do them. Give me your spirit that I may share your love to others by doing what I have learned from you. Let me know you more today. Let my words be your words of encouragement, my works as expression of love and my thoughts be pure and holy. Take control of my body and the notions of my heart that we may not sin but be holy giving your praise the whole day. Amen.
