Let Us Pray No. 236

  • August 24, 2025

Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come. (Psalm 71:18 NKJV)

Abba, our God, and Father, You are the One giving us abundant life and strength. From our childhood, You did not fail to let us experience Your goodness. Your goodness motivates us to spend our time and strength in giving glory to Your name. We want to be diligent in doing Your commandments until we get old. We know that even in our old age, You will continue to support us despite our bodies becoming weak. You will strengthen our spirits, so we can continuously do Your will and be a living example to the next generation. We want to show those younger than us how You fill the lives of Your faithful servants with blessings. Therefore, our God, always gives us enough strength, a clear mind, and the ability to introduce Your greatness to the next generation. This way, when we pass away, Your goodness will continue to be remembered in the next generation until the day of Your second coming to honor everyone who became faithful in presenting Your glory. We fully believe You hear our humble request, for You are our only God, Christ Jesus. Amen.
