“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2

Abba, our Father God, who is perfect in holiness. You want us to be perfect as you are. You want us to attain your image when you came down from heaven to show us how to live a perfect holy life. You know, Father, that we always wanted to please you. Our goal is to give you the excellent service for you are an excellent God. Mediocrity in serving you is never pleasurable to you. But how can we serve you the best way we can? How can we do your perfect will and be acceptable to you? Thank you, Father, for showing us the way. You will not ask us for anything that we cannot do. As your children, you gave us your mind. It is your mind that should dominate us and not our own sinful mind. It has to be renewed according to your mind. By having your mind, we can readily test and know what is good and bad, what is acceptable to you and what is not, moreover, we can know your perfect will and do them. You showed us that inner change should come first before it is revealed in the outside, spiritual before it is seen in the physical. During your transfiguration your glory was revealed in your physical body and was seen by the Apostles. The same way, Lord, that we are changing slowly, from glory to glory and our perfect image in us shall be unveiled upon your return. For now, we ask you to please show yourself to us that we may know you more and more and by gazing you and following you we shall be glorified as heirs of your infinite riches and glory in heaven. Amen
