Abba, our Father, we excitedly commenced this year knowing it will bring us to our greater spiritual growth and increase. We gladly and carefully took the steps to the path of perfecting holiness in our lives. Truly, Lord, your words continuously nourish our souls to renew spiritual strength and refresh our spirit which we have not experienced before. We find ourselves doing things for you which we were not able to do previously. We overcome the sins and temptations which caused us to fall before. We now walk with clear understanding of your ways and your will. All of these things you do for us and for your church as a whole truly amazes us. Your words truly have the power to transform us to bring us from glory to glory until we become your perfect image, having the beauty of holiness. We, Lord, that we cannot reach this stage without your help. For this, we ask you to please do not leave nor forsake us. Be with us every second and every minute of our lives. We cannot overcome without you on our side, for you are our strength, our hope, our stone fortress that can protect and make us victors over our enemies. Lord, we pray that as we face all the challenges, may you give us the endurance and zeal to glorify you, for we are your children who carry your Holy name. For your namesake, help each of us to win our own battle that we face. You know our sufferings, pains, hurts that our bodies as well as our souls experiences. Please, enable us to fully and wholly submit our lives to you, dear Lord. We know that it is the only way for us to overcome even ourselves and our spiritual and physical afflictions. Oh God, we know that this life time fight we have will result in a far greater glory than the sacrifices we have done honor and glory. Amen
