Let Us Pray No. 190

  • July 9, 2017

“Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yes, our God is merciful.” Psalms 116:5

Abba, our Father, you answer our prayers to show us your mercy and righteousness. You listen to us because it is your promise to hear us and to help us in time of our needs. You are our God who is tenderhearted, full of pity and compassion. You promised that when we are tired and weary in carrying our burdens, we can come to you for comfort us and rest of our souls. Lord, we admit that there are times when we feel we are being swallowed-up by sorrows and pains that this world gives, yet, we are able to stand strong and overcome because of we have hoped for your justice, mercy and love. Truly, Lord, you are our only source of strength for us to endure and to overcome this world. We pray that hold  us with your right hand for us to be firm and be guided in our steps until we shine and stand out in the world as your blessed children. As the world increase in in sin, enable us to increase in righteousness and holiness. Help us to guide the wicked to a blessed life, to the path of the most holy way, the path of agape-love which abounds in your Most Holy Church, the house of your mercy and grace, until they join us together in beholding your glory and delight in your presence. Amen.
