Let Us Pray No. 180

  • June 29, 2017

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Abba, our heavenly Father, our dependence on your words teaches and guides us how to live in giving you glory. It reminds us that you are the one we truly need. We are complete if we have you in our lives. It is you who provides us with the necessities in life, likewise, the protection and peace and joy of our souls. Without you, we can do nothing. Lord, we ask you to help us to never fail in our faith to you. Forgive us when we easily and quickly allow doubt and fear to take over in our hearts when we don’t see things happening the way we expect them to be. We know that delays and difficulties are like fire where our faith in you is tried and tested. Thank you, God, for giving us the virtue that your gift of faith is not a push button power that we have them only when needed. You have given us this faith as a presence of your greatness and existence in our lives every moment of everyday. With faith we are able to comprehend, bear, and overcome anything beyond our understanding. Lord, we diligently seek your face in our hearts and we shall walk by faith and not by sight. This we pray in your most holy name. Amen.
