Let Us Pray No. 165

  • June 14, 2017

“Remove from me the way of lying, and grant me Your law graciously.” Psalms 119:29

Abba, our Father, who loves and cares for us. You have given us your laws for us to obey. Your laws serve us our guide in our daily walk to protect us from the deception of Satan who wants to steal, destroy and kill our soul. Your laws provide us the weapons to fight and instill in our hearts the hope of future glory which keeps us fighting for our faith.  Dear Father in heaven, you have been generous ijn giving us your words. They are so great that they fill our hearts and minds. But Lord, you know what the conditions of our hearts are. You know very well how we spend the days of our lives. We still sin and fail to live by your words and to fulfill the purpose of our lives. We pray, oh, Father, refresh our spirit. Give us the zeal and courage to live by your commands. May we not only hear them with our ears, speak about them with our lips, and think about them and be satisfied with them. From this day forward, let your words mold our lives, frame our minds, influence our hearts and develop our character and actions into mature children of yours whom you can be proud of. Lord. We know your will is best for us. Your plan for us is to prosper and succeed. We shall obey and we shall prosper and succeed. Your will be done in us. Amen.
