Let Us Pray No. 145

  • May 25, 2017

“O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies.” Daniel 9:18

Abba, our heavenly Father, you have called us from the sinful world, from the bondage of sin. You delivered us from Satan’s grip. You washed our sins, and gave us the liberty to come and serve you. More than that, you have given us your precious name and called us your beloved children. We have nothing to warrant all these honors and blessings you have given us. We fully believe that you love us and chose us to be your children who are heirs of the riches in your kingdom and of eternal life in heaven. This, Oh Lord, is the reason why we come to you and with humble spirit, we ask for your forgiveness for the sins we have committed. Please consider them as our weaknesses and ignorance. We do not intend to disobey you, instead, we want to live according to your desire. We beg you to put in our hearts the desire which will lead us to attain that which you have purposed in us since the foundation of this world. Since our desires are aligned in your will, bestow us the power of your Holy Spirit that we may pursue and reach the end of our life in holiness and offer our lives as acceptable sacrifices for the praise of your glory. Amen.
