“Nevertheless I am continually with you. You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.” Psalms 73:23-24
Abba, our glorious God and Father, how marvelous is your love for us! We praise you for your wonderful work of salvation. We were sinners and there is nothing in us for you to love us. We are condemned to eternal death. However, you loved us with everlasting love. You reached out for us. Your mighty hand pulled us out of the quicksand of death and established us in you, the only rock of our salvation. You gave us hope for a great future when you adopted us as your sons and daughters, heirs of your kingdom. We now have peace in our hearts because your spirit dwells in us. You are with us everywhere we go, anytime, and whatever our circumstances we go through. Your mighty hand holds us to give us the strength as we walk through difficult times and raise us up when we fall. You lead us to victories in the many battle in this life we go through. Lord, we are certain that we will win this war that we are in. We shall conquer the world. We shall overcome all temptations that this world presents. We shall fail and learn from the trials along the path of holiness until we are perfected in faith and love. We shall fight a good fight of faith until finally, you shall bring us to glory as your sons and daughters for your namesake. Amen.
