Let Us Pray No. 127

  • May 7, 2017

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” Colossians 3:15

Abba, our forgiving God, it is by your mercy and grace we delightfully live together as children of your spiritual kingdom on earth.  The truth that you have pardoned us from our disobedience has freed us from the shame of our past lives. It is now our best choice to serve you and obey you. May you find in us the spirit of thankfulness, for our thankfulness is a mark of our recognition for all the material and spiritual blessings you bountifully give us. Help us to use these blessings by not living in luxury and by not living from the pleasures of the flesh. Enable us to serve you more and to serve other members of your spiritual body especially those who toil and strive for the welfare of your church work. Father, please bestow us your heavenly peace and let us go forth happily and loyally doing our part as members of your spiritual body, your Most Holy Church for the glory and exaltation of your name. Amen.
