Let Us Pray No. 113

  • April 23, 2017

“Let him turn away from evil and do good, let him seek peace and pursue it.” 1Peter 3:11

Abba, our Holy Father, we know we once walked and lived according to the desires of our flesh and of our mind and were by nature children of wrath like the rest of mankind. But in your love for our souls you have delivered our lives from the pit of destruction and you have cast all our sins behind your back and tamed our turmoil spirit. Thank you for all that you have done, especially, you left us your perfect peace which the world cannot provide. It is the peace from obeying all your will and from complete submission of our lives into your authority. Lord, help us and empower us to never go back from our former person, instead, enable us to abstain from any alluring passion of this deceptive world that surely leads to a chaotic life. Oh, Lord, you know each of us very well, whenever the circumstances we bear are beyond the utmost we can resist, help us, oh God! In our weakest point let your strength raise and sustain us until we reach a glorious and a spirit filled life for the honor and praise of your Most Holy name. Amen.
