Let Us Pray No. 103

  • April 13, 2017

“For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.  “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. John 6:55-56

Abba, our Father, the truth that we can freely come to you by prayer in any moment of the day brings us stillness of the heart and calmness of spirit. There is nothing we can compare in the greatness of your works specially the works of your redemption and salvation of our souls. We meditate upon your words that your flesh is indeed the meat we should eat and your blood is for us we should drink. You are truly forming us a heavenly frame of mind that our true need is you and your divine teachings and doctrines. Lord, we are hungry and thirsty of you. Satisfy us by dwelling in us and covering in us your Holy Spirit for the quickening of  our souls and spirits. Do not let us to be sluggish in doing what is righteous and holy. And in commemoration of your bloody and horrible death, let the grace of the bread we eat and the blood we drink in union with you may sanctify us relentlessly in reflecting your meekness, humility and Agape love. As a revelation of our faith, may we profess the purpose of your death to the sinners. Be with us Father, as we go forth until we spread your Gospel throughout the world. Amen.
