The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. (2 Timothy 2:6 NKJV)

Farming is a risk-taking venture. It is an undertaking which needs unwavering commitment to do considerable details for greater productivity. It requires a lot of planning, hard work, patience, and optimism. A farmer never loses hope. He does not feel bored in his daily routine. He looks forward to reaping the fruits of his labor with hope and faith. This gives him the spirit to continue to endure until the harvest season. The threat of severe weather does not keep him from stopping his work. A farmer’s life characterizes the unwavering life of every Christian. We do not think of how much work we are to do. We are full of hope that everything we do matters to God. With heart and soul devoted in the field of God’s mission, the Lord of harvest will make us fruitful in everything we do as laborers in His Vineyard. Our everyday commitment for the work of the Lord will be rewarded with great joy when the time of bountiful harvest comes.
