The LORD Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand. (Isaiah 14:24 NIV)
The words of the Lord God are so powerful that they will not fail to accomplish the purposes for which they were conceived, thought, and stated. It is enough for God to utter His intentions so that we may be encouraged and certain that what He said will come to pass. However, for us, God took an oath to confirm His promises. It is an extra step God took for us to have strong faith in Him. He will not disappoint us. He will fulfill His promises. He will save us and protect us. He will provide for our needs. He will not leave us nor forsake us. His encompassing promise is this: “I will be your God and you will be My people. “ What more can we ask from Him. He gave Himself for us! Thank you Dear God.
