God is our mighty fortress, always ready to help in times of trouble. (Psalms 46:1 CEV)
Are we being pursued by our enemies, by Satan that intends to inflict harm to our body, soul, and spirit? Do not be afraid for God is our refuge. With His powerful hand, He can protect us from anyone and any danger. If God be for us, who can be against us? If we are in any kind of trouble, we can flee to Him and be safe. We can always find help in Him. Whenever we are weak, He is there to strengthen us. When we are tired and weary, He will ease our burden. When we are suffering, we can find mercy in Him to remedy our plight. We do not have to seek and wait for Him, as if He is too far away. Instead He is always there, ready to give a helping hand.
