Power Point No. 358

The Lord blesses people whose sins are erased from his book. (Romans 4:8 CEV)

Our sins were blotted out from the book of life which records our deeds, whether we did them in the dark or in the broad daylight. Nothing is hidden from God. The sins we committed, although as red as scarlet, were cleansed and became as white as snow by the blood of our Redeemer. He forgave our sins, as if we have not committed any wrongdoing. We are now under blessings and not under the curse. We now live in the light and not in darkness. We now live in obedience to God and not in sin. We enjoy the gift of the Holy Spirit which is peace, love, and joy. We enjoy the provision and the protection of God. All the graces were abundantly given to us to enjoy and use to overcome temptations and hardships. Although we still fail to fully abide by His laws, we are still forgiven. It is God’s character of being forgiving that saves us. We should also forgive others who did us wrong, even if they hurt us so much. That is a test of love. Forgive and you shall be forgiven. It is best to have agape in your heart than ill feelings towards anybody. Being happy means being blessed.
