I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again. (Philippians 1:6 NLT)
God gave us the gift of faith when we were still sinners. Because of our faith in Him, we repented our sins and received baptism in the Most Holy Church. Through baptism, our old selves were buried since we were dead because of our sins. We were immersed into the water and were brought out as newly born creations, free from sins. We died with Jesus and were resurrected with Him. He takes care of us now, nourishing our spirits and teaching us until we become perfect like Christ. If we do, we shall be honored in Heaven.
