Because the Lord your God is in the midst of you, and will fight for you against your enemies, to deliver you from danger. (Deuteronomy 20:4 DRB)
God loves His Church. He loves us, His beloved children. Because of His love for us, He decided to personally come down from heaven to deliver us from the bondage of slavery. He fought the spiritual battle against Satan to release us from Him. The moment He died on the cross was the time He defeated Satan. He conquered death. He lives eternally. He was the first born from the dead. He was the forerunner. We shall succeed and follow Him to eternal life. The scenario was the same when Israel was under slavery by the pharaoh. God released them by His great mighty hand. He chose Moses to lead Israel to a land flowing with milk and honey. Pharaoh was Satan. Israel represents the Church. Moses represents the leadership of the Church. The Promised Land is heaven. This assures us that we will reach heaven. Don’t doubt God’s promises. Keep the faith and continue to walk the path of righteousness. Soon, we will get home and receive the promises of God.
