Last 30th of June, until the 2nd of July 2023, the members of the Youth of Zion and Choir of Zion in Canada, together with several of the brethren from the USA, came together at Moonlight Bay, Wabanum, Edmonton to hold summer camp. The General Bishop, Elder Hiel, also participated in the mentioned event. His presence gave excitement to all the participants.
The activities of the summer camp developed the camaraderie among the participants that rekindled the joy of the brethren’s fellowship. All in all, the participants had fun and unforgettable moments that left a lasting impression on everyone’s heart.
Since it fell on a Sunday, the event started by holding the Sunday worship service wherein Elder Hiel delivered the sermon. The sermon discussed how excellent and glorious is God that made Him worthy of our excellent service and glorification. It also discussed that service to the one true God should be manifested in one’s commitment in doing his God-given ministry. Everyone should exert his best effort to give the Lord praise and glory due to His name.
The summer camp not only brought the participants together in flesh, but also united them in spirit. Everyone was rejoicing in the knowledge that they are serving their Father, who is an excellent and glorious God, and that we are His children bearing His holy name.
