Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. (1 Peter 5:6)
Abba, our God Most High, Your power is unparalleled. Your throne is in the highest position in heaven. You rule over the earth even in the kingdom of men. Truly, You are the only King of kings and Lord of lords. We thank You, oh, God, because You bestowed upon us, not only the abilities, glory, wisdom, and wealth in this world but also the right to fulfill the great commission: to preach the truth to the whole world. To fulfill our duty as Your instruments for salvation, we should deny ourselves and submit to Your power. So, we ask You give us a humble heart, so we are always prepared to obey Your commandments. Also, if we fulfill our duties victoriously, may we never take away the glory that is only for You. Instead, may we say, “We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.”. May we humbly accomplish our ministries, so we can give You the honor and glory. We hope that in the right time, You will glorify those who faithfully extolled Your magnificence. We hope and pray our prayer will be heard through Christ Jesus, our God and Savior. Amen.
