Let US Pray No. 22

  • January 22, 2021

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1)

Abba, dear Father. We are so blessed to have you as the shepherd of our souls. As sheep in your flock, we lack nothing materially and spiritually because you are such a generous God. Hearing your voice already provides us with comfort, rest and refreshment for our souls. You lead us to green pastures. Your laws are fresh water to our weary souls and your instructions are food to our souls. Your staff prevents us to go astray. When we sin, you correct us and when there are wolves and temptations that endanger us, you drive them away and shield us.

Dear God, before your throne, I stand before you with the rest of your flock, we ask and pray that you give us your Shepherd’s heart that we may care for each one the same way you do. Give us the strength and the courage to lead your flock to perfect holiness and protect them from the influences of the sinful world. We ask for knowledge and understanding of your will that we may teach them to the faithful for their confidence and dependence on you. We ask that you open up opportunities for us to spread your Words to every race and nations that they may also glorify you. Let us become instruments in gathering your children in one flock as you desire. Abba, Father, I take this opportunity to thank you from my heart. My soul knows well that what I do, why and where I am now is because of your will. I will not be afraid to move on to where you lead me. I fully submit my life to your hands.  Amen.
