Now the multitude of those who believed were of one hear and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. (Acts 4:32 NKJV)

All of us, Disciples of Christ, were called in the Most Holy Church with the purpose of reaching the perfection of holiness. It should be clear to us by now that we cannot achieve that perfection by ourselves. We need one another, and together, we will reach our spiritual perfection. Love is the bond of perfection. We cannot achieve perfection without showing love to our spiritual brothers and sisters. Through our sincere service, we prove our fervent love for one another. Like the Church during the time of the Apostles, members surrendered their belongings to the Apostles to administer them and equally distribute them to everyone. With this method, the Church was able to suffice the needs of all the brethren through the love they have for each other. Brothers and sisters, let us extend our hand to anyone who is in need. Although we are not doing the same method as the early Church, everyone is being encouraged to help each other, even with material needs, for the sake of supporting everybody to remain in service. Then, altogether, we will march towards the perfection of holiness. With our fervent love for one another, no famine or crisis can stop us from reaching our goal. Agape is the power that conquers the world.
