23rd Anniversary of the Revelation of the Covenant of Agape

As the Seven Steps in Rekindling the Covenant of Agape had been completed, finally, the day that the Most Holy Church has been waiting has come. Celebrating its 23rd Anniversary of The Covenant of Agape, with the theme “The Greatness of the Love of Christ”, the whole Church rejoiced as it remembered Agape (Divine Love) – the foundation of the Covenant that God established with the Church.

Thereby, The Most Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus convened its 23rd Anniversary of the Covenant of Agape in different parts of the Philippines on 9th of November 2019.

“No one has greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends, just as Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.”

We are once again reminded of how great the love of God is that He laid down his life for us. And that we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, wants all people to be saved and to know the truth that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life as well.

Another highlight of the celebration is the ritual of pairing new Covenant Partners.

This ritual reminded not only the newly blessed soul-mates (covenanted souls) but also the brethren that, “Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).”

We are as one. We must always think of what’s best for each other. We must help and strengthen one another for we are one in spirit. We must be responsible for each other’s sake even if it means sacrificing your life for one another.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them (1 John 4:16).”

Finally, we must all remember that because of “agape”, God chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in before Him. We as well, out of agape, must preach the gospel to all creation so that whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. This is our mission. This is the purpose of the Covenant of Agape. We must never destroy the covenant for us to not be condemned and be cursed but to received abundant blessings from God up until our children’s children.
