When we were saved by Christ Jesus through the water and the spirit (baptism), we were like a new born child. We know nothing but we were not designed to stay in that situation. We were called by God in His Church for us to be spiritually matured until we reach perfection.
Unity is a key to reach spiritual perfection. No one can reach perfection alone. It is always pleasing especially in the eyes of the Lord to see that all His children live together in unity.
Psalms 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! ”
And to achieve unity, the only key is Agape.
Colossians 3:14 NIV “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. “
