Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. (Joel 2:27 NKJV)
There is ONLY ONE GOD. This was the faith of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The nation, Israel, knows that. God taught them that. It would be a sin if you serve two or three gods. Jesus Himself said you cannot serve two gods. The Most Holy Church serves only one God. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. Serving God Almighty will not be in vain. Our worship services, prayers, and obedience to His commandments are like sweet smelling aroma that is acceptable to God. Our righteous deeds shall be written in the Book of Life in heaven. By serving God, we lay up treasures in heaven. The reward is the Crown of Life.
