God made great and marvelous promises, so that his nature would become part of us. Then we could escape our evil desires and the corrupt influences of this world. (2 Peter 1:4 CEV)
Know that the Almighty God is not beholden to anyone of us. Still, He made great promises for us, His people, and even took an oath to assure us of His promises. Because of His grace, we have His spiritual and everlasting blessings. His divine favor made us strong and wise, to resist temptations, deceptions, and lusts of this world. Instead, we live according to the gospel, molding us to be upright and holy, until we all conform to the image of Christ. In the end, we share not only His image but His glory, and shall be with Him in Paradise.
