The LORD does whatever pleases him throughout all heaven and earth, and on the seas and in their depths. (Psalms 135:6 NLT)
The Lord is a sovereign God. He has the power to do as He pleases to all His creation. He created all of them with the power of His Words. Only humans were created differently, with the power of His hands, but again, from His mouth, He breathed life into them. He fixed the movements of heavenly bodies, the moon, sun, stars, and all the planets therein. None disobeyed ever since. He commanded the waters of the sea to separate and it did. He also turned water into wine. He commanded the wind and storm, and they calmed down. When He speaks, the earth trembles. The more that we should obey God’s will for we know that it is for our own good. He saved us and we owe it to Him to serve Him faithfully.
