God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him. (Philippians 2:13 CEV)
Because of God’s mercy and grace, He chose us to abide by His commands. As we are, we cannot perfectly obey His will. God – in His great wisdom, power, and love – puts in our hearts the desire to do every good work, every righteous idea in our minds, the talents, skills, and strength – to accomplish the work He commanded us to do. It is not of our own making that we have done His will. It is with His help that we were able to do them. We just have to cooperate with God. Surrender ourselves to Him and follow Him. Surely, we shall accomplish great things for the glory of His Holy name.
