Truly, O God of Israel, our Savior, you work in strange and mysterious ways. (Isaiah 45:15 NLT)
God is unique. He is all alone in His class. No one is like Him. His thoughts and ways are different from anyone else. Men cannot trace nor determine His designs and purposes unless they have come near their completion. No one was able to comprehend why God, in His glory and majesty, assumed a human form, was born in a manger, and was brought up as a carpenter. That was prophesied long before it happened but only a few seek to honor Him. He was not accepted as the Messiah, was accused of inciting rebellion, and was sentenced in a most humiliating and painful death on the cross. No one was able to know then, that it was His way by which sinners can be saved, for the remission of sins by His blood. Those who believe in Him shall be saved. Having confidence that His plans for us are for our best interest, we are compelled to worship and be thankful to Him. We may suffer at times and people may see them as misfortunes, but actually, they are God’s ways of giving us His blessings. Thus, be patient in trying times. Endure and do not give up. Hold on to your faith and hope for God’s help. Stand still and wait for the salvation of the Lord.
