As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord will save me. (Psalms 55:16 AMP)
Can we trust God? If we can, how far can we trust Him? Well, God is the only one whom we can trust in all sorts of situations we are in. We can trust Him with our lives, our souls. He created, owns, and chose us to be His children and heirs of His glorious riches. He swore to be responsible for us when He said, “I will be your God and you shall be my people”, in the Covenant of Agape. But can God trust us? We are His disciples. He instructs us and strengthens us to serve Him. We owe it to Him to faithfully serve Him. In times of needs, we can take matters in our hands and work for our deliverance. We can do all that. It is a choice we can make. But to show our trust in Him, we persevere in praying for His help and guidance. We do that by offering our SIKAP Mishal, the prayer of the whole nation, especially in this season of our chosen fast where we involve ourselves in winning souls for Him, for His glory. Look Brethren, don’t you think that God trusts us to do His great work of saving the lost and the sinners, and take responsibility for our acts? Let us join our hearts and spirit for today’s Most Holy Worship Service to the Lord. Thank Him from the bottom of our hearts for His trust in us.
