As Christians, we are troubled and hard pressed by things around us. We sometimes feel we are abandoned. But we have to carry our cross to the end. We cannot be confused nor crushed. We have to talk to ourselves for encouragement and say, “Oh My soul, your God is Almighty. Come and seek the Lord for comfort. With our hearts, we need His blessings, protection and guidance. Oh God, please have mercy, carry us through these troubles. Give us the strength to carry our burdens. Your forgiveness is what we seek. Extend to us your hands of grace and embrace us with your love. Let your love warm our hearts so as not to get weary and cold. Light up our path so we can walk upright and not stumble along the way. Surround us with your angels. Protect us from our enemies. And Lord, please, please, hold my hand while I walk to follow you. With you Lord on my side, it will be like walking in the park. I thank you and Praise you Lord for fulfilling your Covenant in us. Amen.”
