Power Point No. 251

  • September 8, 2018

My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. (Psalm 130:6 CEV)

Watchmen or guards wait for day break. They long to be relieved for the night which seemed too long. Caregivers in night duties would want to pull the arms of the clock, for they feel gloomy and tired for caring for the sick, and to have a new day for relief. Much more are we, who wait for the Lord for His salvation, healing, and restoration. We wait for the day when we can serve Him faithfully by doing our ministry to the best of our abilities. Even more than that, we wait for the Lord’s coming for His reign as His coming is much, much more beautiful than the morning dawn. He is coming in great glory which all of us who are faithful will see. As the saying goes, “There is light at the end of the tunnel.” There is hope in situations of darkness, sadness, weakness, brokenness – in YOUR SITUATION. Our only hope is Jesus Christ our Lord, Almighty, He is the light that never fades.
